Warm and Spicy! Best served with cream cheese (as shown!).
Mix together in a bowl:
3 c flour
3/4 brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp b. soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Then make a well in the center and add the following ingredients, already mixed together, stirring together lightly
3/4 c butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c milk
Add 3/4 c raisins and stir only until blended.
Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake at 350ºF for 25 min. or until muffins spring back when lightly touched.
